Bruno & Mollie. Both dogs AKC & OFA certified for eyes, patella, cardiac, elbows and hips. Also PENN/HIP certified. Litter expected June 14, 2024.
My name is Lindsay and I fell in love with the Bernese Mountain dog breed about 4 years ago. After researching the breed extensively, I waited almost a year to get my puppy. Mollie has been the perfect addition to our family and is the best dog I’ve ever owned. She is fully health tested with the sweetest temperament. We live on 5.5 acres in Payson, Utah and we are so excited to raise happy, healthy puppies.
Mollie has been tested for specific diseases associated with Bernese Mountain Dogs. She has also had OFA certifications done for hips, elbows and cardiac and she has had Penn/hip testing done. We are working with a reproductive vet in Provo who artificially inseminated her and then did a TCI on her. We chose to use Murphy, a BMD stud from Oklahoma who is beautiful. His breeder has been so easy to work with.
Bernese Mountain Dogs (Berners) are a large working breed from Switzerland with a tricolor medium length coat. I particularly love their eyebrows and happy expressions they seem to make. They are known for their sweet, gentle personalities and they are loyal to their families. They are affectionate, intelligent, easy to train, sensitive, alert, calm and tolerant. They can be barkers, Mollie barks when someone is at the door or when someone comes home. They are playful and energetic but not exhausting and hyper. Although they are gentle, these dogs can be playful and exuberant at times and with their size and weight, they might accidentally knock over a child or even an adult. They don’t like being left alone too long and if you work long hours and expect your dog to remain happily at home alone, this probably isn’t the breed for you. Berners shed a great deal and a lot at certain times of the years. They require daily brushing and grooming atleast 4 times a year.
Be the first to hear about the pups! Everyone on our waiting list will be the first ones I will contact and update about the puppies. They will also be allowed to put deposits down first and will get to choose their pups in the order of deposits. I will update this website after everyone on the waiting list is given the right to decide if they’re ready and committed to one of Red Bridge Berners.
Please contact us if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Our puppies are $2000-$2500 for limited AKC registration and an additional $2000 for full AKC registration.
I am happy to text or email them to you and they are available to see on bernegarde. Mollie Reed Bernegarde #207405
Mollie is raised inside our home. She loves to be around us wherever we are and enjoys playing in the yard when we are out there. I have trained her not to go by our horses or goats unless I give her permission so she lays in the yard and watches when we tend to the outside animals. She sleeps in her kennel near my bed and when I drive somewhere quick, she is usually in the car with me.
Puppies will be selected in order of deposits received. Starting at 3-4 weeks old we can begin the selection process. I’m happy to send videos and pictures to the Waiting List individuals to help with the process, especially if people live out of town.
Our babies are adopted quickly, so reach out to reserve your furever friend or to ask any questions.
